Affiliate disclosure
How this site makes money, and what that does not change.
Last checked
At the moment Japan Pocket Guide does not use affiliate links. The site is funded by advertising served by Google. If we add affiliate links in future, this page will be updated first and the links will be disclosed.
How we keep ads and content separate
- Ads are served by Google and are shown as ads. We do not write "advertorial" articles.
- Rankings and recommendations on this site are built from published statistics and official sources, never from who pays.
- If a link earns us a commission, it is because the page would have linked to that service anyway.
